Jane the Virgin Season 2 Submission: Green Onyx Earrings

This week, I did something a little gutsy—I sent a pair of my handcrafted green onyx teardrop earrings to the costume team at Jane the Virgin for their second season. I’ve loved the show since the pilot, so the idea that my jewelry might make its way onto Jane, Xiomara, Petra, or even one of the supporting cast? That’s the dream!

These earrings are one of my favorite designs: luminous green onyx gemstones, wire-wrapped and set in gold-filled diamond-shaped frames. They’re simple, elegant, and totally in line with the colorful, bold style I see every week on screen.

As with every submission, I have no idea if they’ll be used or just tucked into a stylist’s jewelry box. But honestly, the excitement of even being considered for the show is huge for me. It’s one more step toward getting my work out in the world—and maybe (just maybe) seeing it shine on TV.

Here’s to hoping! If I spot them on screen, you better believe I’ll be shouting it from the rooftops (and posting everywhere).
